2014 Corvette Stingray Will Start at $51,995
We already know that the 2014 Corvette Stingray C7 will ship with a 450hp 6.2L V8, seven-speed manual transmission, and a vastly superior interior than the C6. Now you tell me, isn’t that worth a
measly 300 credits extra $2,000?
General Motors announced today that the C7 will cost just under $52,000 when it is released later this year. That’s an increase of just $2,395 over the C6, and most everything has been reworked, most obviously the exterior and interior. The leather-wrapped cockpit shown at the Detroit Auto Show will add an extra $8,005 to the bottom line, however, and the sport bucket seats tack on an additional $2,495. It’s a small price to pay to overcome what has been one of the main disappointments of the outgoing C6. The convertible will cost an even $5,000 more than the coupe.
